Teresa Evans, Chair, Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce
Teresa Evans is Board Chair of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce, a membership organization centered on energizing small business and economic development. She began her role at the Chamber in January 2024, with a renewed focus on steering the strategic direction of the organization and building on the core pillars of collaboration, access to capital, and education + advocacy.
As a passionate supporter of the growth of small and minority-owned enterprise, Teresa has held both business leadership and volunteer community engagement positions in the fintech and government sectors. She is currently a manager in operations and programs within S&P Global - Market Intelligence, and was previously at Nasdaq where she designed outreach to attract initial public offerings to the exchange. She also served in the NYC Office of the Mayor, aligning key, internal projects with the Administration’s mission to advance economic equality.
Teresa holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
