Gregg Castano is a communications industry veteran and innovator with more than four decades of experience in news distribution, investor relations, and corporate communications. He currently serves as President of KoreWire and Vice President of Kore, where he is helping build the first verified newswire platform designed specifically for the private capital markets. Through KoreWire, Gregg is advancing a new generation of trusted communications infrastructure that connects issuers, investors, journalists, and regulators while enhancing transparency and efficiency across private market ecosystems.

Prior to joining Kore, Gregg founded and led News Direct, a technology-driven newswire platform that modernized how organizations distribute and manage corporate communications. Before that, he spent more than 32 years at Business Wire, culminating in his role as President of the Berkshire Hathaway-owned company, where he oversaw global growth strategy, sales, marketing, and communications operations. Having risen through the organization from an entry-level newsroom position to executive leadership, Gregg is widely respected for his deep expertise in media distribution, public relations, and investor communications. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on leveraging technology to improve how organizations share information and engage stakeholders in an increasingly connected world.
