Beth Colosimo
Beth Colosimo is the Executive Director of The Mill Entrepreneurship Center and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (GS10KSB) at Salt Lake Community College, Utah, USA. The Mill offers numerous programs and assistance for entrepreneurs and small business owners. The Mill includes the Small Business Development Center, co-working space, the Everyday Entrepreneur Program (EEP), Veteran Business Resource Center, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center, Global Business Center and many other services and programs. The Mill and GS10KSB serve thousands of start-ups and small business owners with the mission to educate, provide resources, and access to capital. Beth also facilitates adult and youth refugee leadership classes. She has taught EEP to numerous groups including Congolese refugees and incarcerated populations at the Utah State Prison. Beth recently travelled to Malawi, Africa as a guest of the US Dept. of State to teach entrepreneurship and has taught youth and women in India during study abroad trips for SLCC.
Prior to joining SLCC, Beth created, owned, and operated her own small business, Wasatch Home Furnishings. She had a successful exit and went on to a career in economic development with EDCUtah prior to joining SLCC. Beth is a graduate of the University of Utah and received her MBA from Westminster College. Beth works with numerous non-profit boards and community partners in the spirit of collaboration and promoting Utah’s small businesses. Beth is a 2021 recipient of Utah Business Magazine’s 30 Women to Watch Award. She was also named as a 2021 Pathfinder winner by the Salt Lake Chamber and Women’s Business Center Athena Awards.
Beth is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and small business owners and those looking to make a difference in their businesses and communities. She is equally passionate about family, travel, golf and India.
