That mission led to the founding of Charlotte’s Web, where as CEO and Chairman he helped build one of the most recognized hemp and CBD brands in the world—reshaping global perceptions of cannabis through groundbreaking medical applications and advocacy.

Today, Joel continues to lead at the intersection of science, nature, and purpose, steering AJNA BioSciences into new frontiers of botanical therapeutics, including research into cannabis and psilocybin. In addition to his executive role, he serves on the board of Stanley Brothers, guiding strategic initiatives that honor his commitment to plant-based healing and planetary well-being.
