Prof. Alan Tratner is an internationally recognized environmental innovator, inventor, and entrepreneurial mentor with over five decades of experience championing sustainable innovation. As the International Director of Green2Gold and former President of the Inventors Workshop International and the Entrepreneur’s Workshop, Alan has guided thousands of green technology pioneers and impact-driven startups. A serial inventor with 13 patents, he has been dubbed the “Minister of Ideas” and featured in major media outlets including TIME, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and OPRAH. His leadership spans environmental education, alternative energy, and business incubation, including his involvement in launching Earth Day and the first UN Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm.
Alan's lifelong commitment to environmental sustainability and innovation has earned him numerous honors, including induction into the International Green Industries Hall of Fame. He founded and directed various landmark initiatives such as the ECO EXPO’s Green Business Conference, the Eco Inventors and Entrepreneurs Workshops, and the Environmental Education Group Foundation.
