Steven Sashen

Steven Sashen is co-founder and CEO of Xero Shoes (Feel The World, Inc.), the barefoot-inspired footwear brand proving that natural movement is better for feet and bodies - a health and wellness company disguised as a shoe company. A Masters All-American sprinter, former professional stand-up comic, and award-winning screenwriter, he launched Xero in 2009 with co-founder (and wife) Lena Phoenix, starting with DIY huarache sandal kits inspired by Born to Run. The company famously turned down a Shark Tank deal and grew into a global brand with millions of customers. He holds a cognitive psychology master's from Harvard.
