Lisa Curtis is founder and CEO of Kuli Kuli, the company that introduced moringa to the U.S. market and turns climate-smart, community-grown superfoods into staple foods. She discovered moringa as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, where women farmers shared a traditional peanut snack called kuli kuli. Returning home, she launched Kuli Kuli in 2013 to bring the nutrient-dense green to American consumers while creating income for thousands of smallholder farmers, mostly women, worldwide. Previously at the White House and Tesla, she is a UC Global Food Initiative 30 Under 30 honoree whose products now sell in thousands of stores.
