Privacy Policy
Effective October 25, 2026
This policy explains what The Super Crowd, Inc. ("SuperCrowd," "we," "us") collects about you, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. SuperCrowd is a public benefit corporation. We try to collect only what we need to run our events and services, and we never sell your information to data brokers.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers every SuperCrowd website, app, event and email that links to it, including:
- thesupercrowd.com, including our event, ticket, sponsorship, membership, coaching and networking pages, and My SuperCrowd;
- our events, such as SuperCrowd, PurposeBuilt100®, SuperGreen Live, SuperCrowdHour and the Superpowers for Good Live Pitch;
- SuperCrowd.tv and our TV apps on Fire TV, Google TV and Roku;
- our newsletters and emails;
- our other SuperCrowd sites: the SuperCrowd Impact Newsroom, SuperCrowd Impact Wire, the Impact League, SuperImpactScore.ai, the Reg CF Campaign Diagnostic, the SuperCrowd Directory and SuperCrowd Career Path.
When you use another company's service to reach us, such as Substack for our newsletter, Stripe for payments, Zoom for a meeting or LinkedIn for a post, that company's own privacy policy also applies.
2. What we collect
What you give us
- When you register or buy: your name, email address, phone number, job title, company, and any answers you give on the form. If a ticket or sponsorship comes with a printed book, we also ask for a mailing address.
- Payments: Stripe processes card payments. We see what you bought; we never see or store your full card number.
- Profiles you choose to create: speaker profiles, networking room cards, photos, bios and the social media links you add.
- What you send us or post: messages in our networking rooms, emails to our team, sponsor logos and ads, startup videos, coaching answers, press releases, and anything else you upload.
- Sponsors: company details, the people we work with, logos, ads, and the company's social media handles, so we can tag the sponsor when we post about an event.
- If you speak at or appear in an event: your name, image, voice and remarks, which we record and broadcast (see section 4).
What we collect automatically
- Website analytics: we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how people find us, and roughly where they are (city or region), using cookies. We do not use advertising pixels from Facebook, LinkedIn or anyone else.
- Sign-in: when you sign in to one of our sites, a cookie keeps you signed in. On thesupercrowd.com you sign in with an emailed link instead of a password.
- Short links: when you click one of our short links (such as 4sc.us), we record the click: the time, the page that sent you, your browser type and your IP address. This tells us and our sponsors which placements work.
- Email delivery: our email service tells us whether a message was delivered or bounced, and sometimes whether it was opened or a link was clicked.
- TV apps: our apps report anonymous playback statistics when a video starts playing: the video title, the platform (Fire TV, Google TV, Roku or web), the app version, whether it was live or on demand, and an anonymous signal when an app opens. We collect no names, accounts, emails, device identifiers, locations or viewing histories from the apps.
What we collect from other sources
- Public records: our crowdfunding coverage, scores and directories use public information, such as Regulation Crowdfunding filings on the SEC's EDGAR system and companies' own websites. These can include the names and roles of company founders and officers.
- Our own social media Pages: we read the posts on SuperCrowd's own LinkedIn Pages (and, in the future, our own Facebook and Instagram accounts) to see which sponsors, speakers and companies we have tagged, so we can make sure we promote the people we promised to promote. We follow each network's rules on how long we may keep this information (see section 7).
3. How we use it
- To run our events, tickets, sponsorships, memberships and other services, and to deliver what you signed up for or bought.
- To send you confirmations, calendar invitations, event reminders and, if you ask for them, newsletters. You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time.
- To run our networking rooms and pass messages between attendees.
- To produce, record and broadcast our events and publish what you ask us to publish.
- To understand how our sites are used and make them better.
- To keep business, tax and legal records, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- With help from AI tools: we use AI services, including providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI and AssemblyAI, to help with work like transcribing videos, drafting and checking content, scoring and screening public company information, and sorting the email we receive. These providers process information for us under their business terms.
4. Who we share it with
- Event sponsors and partners: for an event you register for, we may share the registration list (your name, email address and company) with that event's sponsors and partners, who may contact you about their offers. You can opt out at any time (see section 5). Some state privacy laws call this kind of sharing a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and we treat your opt-out that way.
- Other attendees: if you turn on your networking room card, other people with access to that room can see it and message you. You can hide your card at any time.
- The public: speaker profiles, event recordings and broadcasts, published press releases and showcase videos, and leaderboards. Event recordings are shown on SuperCrowd.tv, YouTube and our broadcast partners' channels, including e360tv. Impact League leaderboards show the handle you choose, never your name, email or dollar amounts.
- Companies that help us run SuperCrowd: web hosting, payments (Stripe), email (Google Workspace and Resend), video hosting (Bunny.net and YouTube), analytics (Google Analytics), AI tools (see section 3), newsletters (Substack), scheduling (Calendly) and video meetings (Zoom). They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our community, our team or others.
- If SuperCrowd changes hands: if we merge with or are acquired by another organization, or sell some of our business, your information may move to the new owner, who must honor this policy for it.
5. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we have about you;
- correct it;
- delete it, unless we must keep it for legal, tax or payment records;
- stop sharing it with sponsors and partners ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"): use our opt-out form or email us;
- stop sending you marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter;
- hide your networking card or take down your speaker profile.
To make a request, email apps@supercrowd.biz. We may ask you to confirm your request from the email address we have on file. We will answer within 45 days, and we will never treat you differently for using these rights. An opt-out applies from the time you send it; we can't recall a list already shared with a sponsor, but we will not include you in future lists.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one keeps you signed in, and Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that turns off Google Analytics. Blocking cookies may sign you out of My SuperCrowd.
7. How long we keep it
- We keep your information while you use our services and for as long as we need it for the reasons above.
- We keep ticket, sponsorship and payment records for as long as tax and business laws require.
- Information from LinkedIn: we keep posts from SuperCrowd's own LinkedIn Pages for up to six months. Posts, comments and mentions by individual LinkedIn members are kept no longer than 48 hours, and their profile details no longer than 24 hours, as LinkedIn requires. We may keep LinkedIn's ID numbers for companies and people, which is how we match a tag to the sponsor or speaker it belongs to.
- Backup copies are deleted on a rolling schedule.
8. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, such as encrypted connections, emailed sign-in links instead of passwords on thesupercrowd.com, limited staff access, and encryption of certain private records. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be exposed.
9. Where your information is handled
Our servers are in the United States. Some members of our team and some of the companies that help us work outside the United States, so your information may be viewed or processed in other countries.
10. Children
Our events and services are for adults. They are not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is important, we will also tell you by email or with a notice on our site.
